About us
Rebecca Bresnick Holmes

I discovered my passion for clay in
1995 and have been helping other
people experience the joy of clay by
teaching wheel-throwing and hand-
building at the UC Davis Craft
Center, Davis Art Center, and
privately.
Beginning with my own children’s
preschool classes, I have worked
with children of all ages to
introduce them to the fun of clay. I
am a certified subtitute teacher for
the Winters School District and am
bilingual in English and Spanish.
I have been involved in various
community-based public art projects
and have been an active participant
in the Winters art community. I sell
my pottery at Steady Eddy’s, Ficelle,
and Briggs & Co.
Shannon Moore-Jervis

I discovered clay after moving from
Nashville, where I had studied
painting and art history, to
Northern California in 1990. I
worked for six years as studio
manager at Billick Rock Art in
Davis. I then formed Claymoon
Studio, where I was involved in
every aspect of large-scale public
art projects,  taught workshops and
participated in many projects
working exclusively with children.
I am a member of The Artery in
Davis and have shown my sculpture
in numerous galleries. I am also a
former preschool teacher.
I am excited to have an opportunity
to teach both children and adults
and hope to inspire them to love
working with clay as much as I do.
