About me:
I love making pottery. I was initially inspired to work in clay while living in
Spain in the late 1980's. After returning to the U.S., it took several years for
me to be able to pursue my interest in clay. I eventually took a wheel-throwing
class at the UC Davis Craft Center in 1995 and have been covered in clay ever
since. I have been further inspired to create and explore different ways of
using and decorating clay during several wonderful return visits to Spain.
Since opening my own studio with a friend in 2007 I've been able to expand
my work and discover my interest in making tile and other slab work.
I enjoy taking commissions and creating something specifically to meet
someone's needs. All my work is food-safe and can be put in the microwave
and dishwasher.
