There's not much there yet, but you CAN sign up to get my seasonal newsletter, and eventually you'll be able to order items (like your favorite mugs) directly from the website.
In the meantime, please contact me directly for your pottery needs, and sign up for the newsletter to stay informed about upcoming studio sales and events I'll be attending.
It's true, I closed the shop
To my Clayground friends, family, customers, supports, and those who have helped in so many ways over the years,
It is with excitement that I am writing to you today to share that I am entering a new stage of my life and re-entering the full-time world of being a studio potter/maker. This means that I will be closing The Clayground after the Holiday Market on December 31st.
While I know that many of you will be surprised and perhaps unhappy to read this news, it’s been a long time in the works and has been met with careful consideration. I’ve secured an incredible new shop to take over the space, and I believe you’ll embrace them, just as Winters has always embraced and celebrated The Clayground.
I have met so many interesting people and made dear friends over the last 12 years, and I am extremely appreciative of what The Clayground has brought into my life. Now it is time for me to focus on my work and closing the shop will allow me to do that.
We will have our final Annual Holiday Market this December as usual. I am inviting my participating artists and artisans to bring in as much work as possible so that you have a chance to get those things that you can’t find elsewhere. If you have had your eye on something in the shop, or want to stock up on your favorite items, now is the time. Many of our artists/artisans don’t sell anywhere else, so be sure to stop in and see what you want before it’s gone.
In January we will have a clearing out sale – everything in the space will be for sale: furniture, tools, materials, odds and ends, etc. I will advertise the closing out sale as we get closer to the date, so be on the lookout if there is anything you want from the shop.
The new tenants will open a home goods boutique with a fabulous farmhouse chic vibe in the space. I am so grateful to them for coming into my life at just the right time to help make my dream come true.
I appreciate the support, patronage, friendships, visits, and fun that I have received at the shop. Thank you all for being a part of that.
While the storefront is closing, I’m not going anywhere. I will still be making pottery, continue taking custom orders, and will have periodic Studio Sales from my home studio. Sign up for my newsletter (to the left), and you will get quarterly news about my sales and happenings.
Please feel free to contact me for your pottery/ceramic needs. I can always be reached at Rebecca0863@gmail.com or by phone: 530-902-0863.
I hope that you continue to follow my creative journey on Facebook, Instagram, or whatever your social media of choice is.
Be well, and please stay in touch!
With deep gratitude,
Rebecca (& Linus)
